This site is the web presence for the teaching, research work and publications of the Right Reverend Dr Christopher and Mrs Jan Herbert.

Christopher Herbert has established himself as an international authority on Christian art and a teacher of Christian spirituality, and following his recent retirement as Bishop of St Albans, he is pursuing these and related areas through a number of exciting projects. These include:

:: The launch of a range of meditation and prayer DVDs featuring works of Christian art, published by SCM-Canterbury Press.

:: A programme of expertly-guided visits to the great London art galleries.
